The Jalapeno cannot be planted in a pot. Is this a bug?

First how did you get it? Second, is there a way to make seeds and plant them? I know thats how my son grows jalapeños irl.

Note... in the patch notes JC stated:
"New Items: Carrot, Radish, and Tomato can all be potted.
New Item: Jalapeño"

To me that sounds as if jalapeños are not potable.

Shucks.

It came out of a pot - I'm not certain what was planted originally. If you right click the pepper the only option is to eat it.

You want it because its restore values are awesome. Which is probably also why it can't be planted, you just get a lucky jalapeno and rejoice.

You were not talking about 'a recipe' in your previous post, don't play this womanly trick on me !

I absolutely was talking about its restore values when used in a recipe. I specifically said 'its restore values are awesome'. Restores only happen for variable ingredients (and now for some Gluttony foods as well but those also use recipes). I guess I just assumed you knew that.

Here, I'll stop assuming you know how to play Salem and point it out to you very clearly: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... nus_Values

Use the Jalapeno as 'Any Bellpepper' in a Recipe and get 30% restore values 100% of the time to ALL food groups.
