So there was a rowboat in providence with 2 people in it - i hopped in thinking I'd jump out before whoever left town.

Suddenly the whole boat ported back into their town and I was stuck and then murdered.

Seriously - you can port a whole boat? What kind of voodoo is that?

A diminutive Richard move on the boat owner's part to say the least. I hope this won't turn into some drama about why it would be unfair to restore this vs. past denials. At this rate people will just not log on for fear that logging on means they've actively participated in the unknown mechanics that lay ready to rid them of their characters.

So while I head to sleep, I hope this gets handled nicely and doesn't turn into a dramafest :\

Getting in a stranger's boat and getting murdered is not different than getting a stranger's car in real life and getting murdered. You pretty much asked for it.

The summoner reported the bug prior to use and has since been rewarded for his actions.

The Victim died to an unintended bug in which I deemed an immediate hotfix necessary and had no desire to leave or implement the ability of teleporting scentless characters from Boston to your homestead as a game mechanic.

As such, Victim has been restored.

You may now begin your 5-10 pages of QQ and tears as to why this restore was wrong and/or why other incidents were similar and deserved restores. I shall get my tear mug ready.
