Simple Stove Mislabeled

When you right click and open up a Simple Stove, the item label at the top of the container box is "Kiln".

This information seems to only be shown for me on the Ender's client, which means that the info being sent out is sent out as "Kiln" instead of "Simple Stove"

It's kinda like a two way thing, you can use it to cook with as a simple stove but it works for pottery Kiln as well.

I understand what you can do with it, I am just saying that you build the item in the Build menu called Simple Stove, but the label for it is Kiln. Since this is the bug and technicalities section, I posted it, because it is incorrectly labeled.


... Sorry, I worked a lot of QA and Dev at a software company and this is the kinda thing that drove the managers bonkers.

Post simple stuff like this on the bug tracker. There's many of these little things floating around the game. (They drive me bonkers, too, but I've just learned to ignore them for now.)

My simple stove was built in my hut using the Ender client. When I right click on the stove the "kiln" box opens. I would like to use this as a stove but can't figure out how to do so. When I try to craft an item that needs a stove I get the message: "You need to be using a stove."

An earlier post suggests that there is a workaround so that I can use this as a stove. Would appreciate any assistance you can provide. I am on the Jamestown server.

You need to light it first. Fill it with fuel and light it with a lit torch from a fire, a tinderdrill, flint & steel, or what have you.
