I dont know if is a bug but is something among these lines
lvl 55 at hammer and nails and i get 9 fails and 6 succeses that shouldnt be 55% of succes? if it was 1 to 1 ratio yes i was ok with it but to get 1.5:1 with 55% of succes no im no ok with it
this is getting offtopic please close the thread
devs aproved that is not a bug and 55 h&n dosent mean 55% succes rate

No, the number of your H&N skill does not equal to % of success.

Your sample size is also too low to say anything meaningful about chances.
You could have a 90% success chance and still fail 10 in a row.

then could you let us know what is the calculation of succes rate for planed board?
that would prevent useless reports in the future

This is not the type of game where the developers give you all the little formulas and details. The higher it is, the more successful you will be. If you want more information than that then it is up to you to investigate and experiment. Salem is as much about exploration and trial and error as it is survival.

IIRC it caps at around 75-80% no matter how high your h&n.

Nope, but at a certain point you get diminishing returns on your H&N increase, the success rate will continue to increase but it becomes incredibly slow.

then build more timber piles at once sometimes I get 3 out of 15 but you don't hear me complaining ...that's because when I build I go overboard
