Smashing leantos on a claim

So you can smash leantos on a Pclaim which is on a Vclaim without having the braziers shoot at you? And without a Wasteclaim no less?

Because that's precisely what Ikpeip did when he glitched through the gate.

It has always been possible to smash a claimed leanto no matter if it is on a pclaim, town claim, or out in the open. The reason is because it is its own claim and so other claims don't affect it or something. It was specifically programmed that way, we were told when we asked a long time ago, so it isn't a bug. You could make an argument for changing it though.

yes but it leaves a waste scent which should have activated the braziers on a Tclaim or Pclaim. Especially if on both.
In this case it was on both and the end result should have been a ko'd pmp on the claim.

As Mereni said, the leanto would be it's own claim. Meaning the waste scent wouldn't be on the town or pclaim.

exactly, just another pclaim under a tclaim, thus the tclaim braziers should have activated to the response of waste.

If not, a leanto acts as it's own personal Tclaim?

either way, it needs to change. It's another one of jorb/loftars trolls to make backstabbing easier to thus harvest more tears.

It is true that this was the previous desired effect. We have a solution to this. But it wont' exactly work until we make some fairly broad changes to the way the summon, seige, and pvp system work in general. As it stands now, don't let people near your claimed leantos if you don't trust them not to smash it.
