I have come over this 'problem' once before, I think it was due to the fact that my character logged out in a claim where he had full rights (but which was not his homestead). The game offered me to tele to my homestead 'not losing my inventory'. I did, however.

When the character owning that particular piece of land gets the same warning, he does retain his inventory.

Recent testing by myself has confirmed that everything here is working properly. I kept inventory when it said I would not lose it, and I lost it when it said I would lose it. There's just two different messages that may appear, and I dont quite know what determines which message you receive.

ok... so to add to this, i ended up having my net randomly cut out on me and i was on my own PClaim, it's saying for me to tele back to my homestead losing my entire inventory, since it was due to net loss, could i get some assistance please?

It should be that if you could have teleported without losing your inventory, then you get the 'without losing your inventory' message. So, if you own the claim, you should not lose it anywhere on claim. If you don't own the claim, you will lose it unless you were standing right next to your leanto.

You won't be getting any assistance on that: no handholding here. This issue should not occur anymore anyway; your character now does not log out anymore at all while carrying stuff.
