Re: Coords of PainHurtz for Darwoth and BTK village

I knew about the client crashing part. Anybody tried these bug's on the default client, or would care to report after they have?

I will split this thread into a bug report.

I got a report on the lean-to teleport tacking abuse, but nothing about an infinite arrow.

If this does indeed work, which several people now suddenly state it does, then it is indeed a serious issue and needs to be fixed ASAP.

This reminds me horribly much of the leather situation. Once it was posted on the forums everyone suddenly said "oh yeah, I thought it was a feature" or "I noticed that today". Not accusing you's of abusing this bug knowingly, but I am certain some players have.

This is still a beta so you are supposed to report these things as you find them, not use them for personal gain!
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

It's just HNH all over again where a secretive few keep bugs that are advantageous to them to themselves and then suddenly act like Johhny Do-gooder when it is brought into light.

Nothing to see here.

so mad kid. get over yourself. you going to stalk me irl now like you did pain?

I didn't know about it till moo asked me this morning and i asked from the people i played with last world. I told him a different way to abuse the scent system that had nothing to do with the tracking.

You start tracking... when charges reaches 1, the arrow points in random direction and the counter stops.

It's a bug, but in no way holds an advantage.

I dont think they [ab]used any bug. They probably just walked in a straight line and tested any homesteads with their evidence that they came upon. It really isnt that hard...besides, who says they started tracking at Boston anyways ?

I'm pretty sure that with all the scents accumulated from all his crimes they could track him even if he escaped to Africa.

It is possible to abuse the tracking system in some way though, I won't deny it. And I'm pretty sure that the devs team is already aware of it.
