Townhouse Update

Postby Alexivo » Fri Feb 08, 2013 3:22 am

I have several homes on my property and I just found out that the 9 deer sleeping in my wooden townhouse disappeared. The animals in my pilgrims hovel are still there, however. Has anyone else noticed their animals disappearing from the townhouse? Did the recent update change the qualities of the townhouse?

They're supposed to decay away after some point, but last I heard there's been some bugs with it. Could be they're fixed. (Not sure why it would be fixed for one building and not all.)

dont they last like upto 1 week from being killed in a Pclaim house or sled?? where as they last 24-48s on pclaim and less on a vclaim (as iv noticed dead animals on open vclaim despawn after 12-24hrs yet on pclaim same area they last up to 48hrs :/ and up to 4days in a house...

not sure the exact time as i tend to butcher after iv gathered about 9 deer (pilgram/farmer houses seem so big until you shove 9 dead deer inside)

as far as I know they still last forever in a minehole (aka "the fridge")
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I was being playful with my language, but yes, they were dead. I drew a parallel between both of my homes because it shows that with one house the animals did not decay, yet with the other house, all 9 who were killed at different times disappeared at once.

I have always stored animals in the townhouse without any problems before, but after the TH was just updated in the last patch, it makes me think that some of the qualities within it also changed.

Shouldn't matter what floor you have them on. See my previous post in this thread.

I'm saying it's a bug and can be expected to be fixed at any time. If that means they rot as normal now, consider it fixed. If it's been logged on the bug tracker, loftar has been pretty good about updating it when a bug is resolved.
