Launching problem

Hi,

I recently downloaded Salem, but when I try to open it as a java file, it opens a window, which is closed one second later
Some ideas to solve this problem?

I'm experiencing this problem right now.
I have even turned off firewall and uninstalled my anti-virus (Microsoft Security Essentials).
I have lowered my Java security settings to the lowest.

I have tried everything and searched a lot in this forum. I can't find a solution!

Please help me! I need to get Salem to work so I can start playing on this computer.

Turning on java errors would help. I had the same symptoms you are describing. In my case I had to update my graphics card software with its latest patch.
