game totally crashes my system.

Hi, I just started playing, loaded up the game, after about a minute (when I tried to equip a hat) it turned my screen a funny colour and crashed my system. When it restarted, the mouse and keyboard were locked out.
the second restart worked, but when I tried again, it lasted about a minute, and I got clothes on then crashed my system again, though this time didn't lock the controls out.

i find very unlikely that the game is the reason why your computer acted as you just wrote, i can't find any logic reason why it should make your computer react that way

Can you run any other 3d game on your PC? It seems that either your hardware is failing or you have some malware installed or you have a mess in your OS.
