observation:

If your toon is destroying the stone hedge staying outside of your claim, no splash damage to plank fence occurs.
If your toon is destroying the stone hedge staying inside of your claim, plank fence is damaged (~ 71%)

my walls were outside of a player claim, on a town claim.
In any case, seems the splash thingie is STILL RIFE with bugs. Bugtracker for this one :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Plank splashes stone: does 98% dmg to stone.

Stone splashes Plank does: 2% dmg to plank.

Right?

Thought this was normal.....

Splash Damage

Finally the video is here

My mistake- I didn't show the strenght of splash damage, but you may see that it's over 75% (as the color is deep red). Exactly it's 76%

That's why I'm so worry about it :( I believe that we'll get results soon, as a bug with covering own village with trial-by-fire was fixed in a week after posting

bearcub, I posted your video as an additional comment on the bugtracker issue I opened on this:

http://www.seatribe.se/bt/show_bug.cgi?id=175

If you don't want it there, gimme a holler :)

Edit: after watching your video, i'm thinking the wall segment you destroy has to be "pointing at" the plank fence, i.e. the plank fence must be in its extension.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

So you're telling me if I have an outer layer of stone wall, it will ***** my inner plank wall by bringing it down to 20%?

That would make it so the plank wall is even weaker with a stone wall than on it's own...

It is not exactly clear what precisely constitutes the bug, but there IS one. If you have a setup using plank fences, better test it to be sure :) Better than get surprised when assaulted!
