Row boat took its leave. I guess.

Hello.

Today, I took my new rowboat for a spin. It took me quite some time (2 weeks) to finish and I was very very happy with it.
It glided smoothly on ocean waters, yet I knew something was about to happen.
The ominous crash had to ruin everything. It took away my boat, my family, my inventory.
Alas, I was left with just a replacement of what was my special first boat.
Though I could rebuild it, I'm not asking for anything back. I guess using the Ender client makes me unable to receive anything.
Instead I'd like this issue to be tackled and fixed.
If I crash/log off on a boat, I wish I could respawn on it because my spot was NOT taken.
This game is very time consuming and nobody wishes to undergo unnecessary efforts.
