Postby Heffernan » Tue May 10, 2016 9:12 am

Hello, i just trespassed a open townclaim and open pclaim and started attacking the Townbell wich was under the pclaim, but the defense didnt shoot at me, i waited a bit after killing the bell but nothing, only after i attacked the pclaim the defense lit up immediately.

It looks like attacking the bell didnt leave any scents. Maybe the pclaim owner had you memod and you had waste permissions?

nope the char is brand new, my old criminals had.. a few accidents so its brand new, even had to do crimes to trespass

scent 1-2 opening unlocked brickdoor
3rd one stealing a pocket watch from pclaim

so killing the bell didnt leave any scrents it seems really.

nope no scents at bell..

PClaim trespass don't activate the braziers atm.

1) You stole the pocketwatch before destroying the bell? As far as I understand this would activate the braziers.

2) Once the braziers had a 20~30 seconds delay when I was raiding (waste). This is certainly a bug and maybe that's what happened (with a bigger delay).

3) Or maybe the bell don't count as an "pclaimed object" if it's without silver (?).

4) Hell two brick corners together become quite ugly (besides being nonsense) thanks for sharing this ugly pic.

I gather that's why the iron wall is a bit higher than brick, to get around that.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

1) nope just stealing from leantos or pclai doesnt activate defense, just larceny from townobjects like chests etc

2) i know this delay bug but then atleast they lighted up

3) no clue but even without silver the defense should actiate and leave a scent as u do waste.

I think destroying an empty bell just isn't considered a crime, pclaim or no. Been a really long time since I was in such a situation though so I'll have to put this on the list for John to look at.
