Black Screen Help

Hi, I have been enjoying Salem for the last couple of days and have had the occasional crash, well today the client crashed and now whenever I attempt to run the game the window pops up with a black screen, i dont make it to login or character select or anything.
I poked around trying to find solutions but cant seem to find one that works.
I was using Java 6 at the time I have now upgraded to java 7, no success there, set my graphic settings to default (triple buffering disabled) no luck there either, all firewalls and anti virus/mal ware programs disabled too.

Is there anything else i can try to fix this?

EDIT After a couple hours of struggling to fix this I decided to play something else, however it seems that whatever caused the crash stopped every game i have from loading, a complete re-install of my video drivers appears to have fixed the problem.
