Can't register with hotmail

Hey Salem

Tried to register with my @hotmail e-mail, but after trying several times on seperat e-mail accounts I finally gave up. Never got the e-mail to confirm my account so I could log in and play the game. And yes I also checked my spamfolder

Anything I can do to fix it, og is it possible to talk with an admin to get registered with my other e-mail and accountname?

Well clearly there is some kind of bug about the activation thing... i used a hotmail adress first, looked at the spam folder, at my settings and even got this adress as a trusteable account register@salemthegame.com but didnt work... then i made a gmail, totally new account, didn't even change any settings but i didn't receive anything. So after 2 waiting i asked a friend to try for himself and same thing happened. Today, after 4 days of trying to play the game i made a yahoo mail and it worked. That's great for me but please try to fix that, gmail is a common adress and so is hotmail and if it wasn't because i am persistent i wouldn't be able to play and i assume many people didn't even get into this game because of that. At least write in the registration progress that if you don't receive an e-mail try changing your adress or something

I've never heard of Gmail or any other program having a problem registering, so this must be either a new problem, or a temporary one that resolved itself by the time you tried Yahoo. I'll try making another player account myself and see.

The email went to my spam folder, but otherwise worked fine. Perhaps it's related to the recent problem with the server. I don't know much about that though, so I can't say for sure. I'll mention it to John, but the problem looks like it was temporary.

Same here. 3 days try my gmail. Read this... set up yahoo mail, got it first try. Needs to be fixed.

Hotmail still not working form me tried a few email.

- Registering not working
- password reset not working

Please fix this its really annoying for new players and players who lost there password.


PS: yea after 20 tries I managed to find the correct password for my old account which I made back in 2012....

I wasnt able to register from gmx either which is a popular german provider.

I have tried to register an account with a HOTMAIL address at least 3 times since this thread was started. I have not received a confirmation email in my inbox or in my spam folder.

Gmail, and Yahoo both work for me, but HOTMAIL has been a failure since my first attempt September 6, and as recently as today.

Also, for the record, the "Get Account List" option when logging in to the forums seems inconsistent. I had to use the feature multiple times for each email account before getting the actual list of accounts associated with each email. The first attempt with each email address gave the following results: "There are, however, no accounts registered on this e-mail address." I get NO email delivered to my HOTMAIL account at all.
