As they said below just stick right on the deer's tail. When it goes to do a regular attack just move and stomp the pierce. Rinse and repeat till you win kill them. At 60 biles it is not that hard but it can be an extended fight.
Can people even understand why this thread was created? This is not about pilgrim versus deer, this is about deer attacking, for example, a bear, only with charge, no other attacks used. I am not sure that it's a feature for deers to charge other animals, not humans until they die miserably.
