Here's a weird one...

While crafting crown of thorns. had a grimtooth in one pocket and picked thorns and got 8 thorns and two more girmtooths. I had two webs in my inventory so when I went to craft I noticed that the grimtooth in my pocket was highlighted with 7 of the thorns I had picked as the 8 thorn requirement. Okay, so i select the grimtooth in my pocket to try to make it switch to the last thorn. No dice. I took the 3rd grimtooth out and put it on a log and it still won't highlight that last thorn. Hitting craft tells me I don't have all the ingredients.

Taking out the grimtooth and the last thorn putting them into a log and and putting back just the thorn doesn't work either. It really wants my girmtooth...


Edit: Dumping all my thorns, putting the third grimtooth in a log and then collecting 10 new thorns didn't work. Wasn't until I put all three grimtooths in a log, dumped my thorns and picked all new ones was I able to craft the crown.

That's nearly 2 extra clicks! I demand devs take their attention off the PvP system and fix this crucial crown of thrones problem.
