cannot launch or load game after registering

after registering a new account I clicked on the URL but all I got was my account name and the launch button and when I pushed it I get an unable to launch message where the exceptions are all unknown and Salem shortcut fails. There seems to be no way to load game. I had an old beta account but since Paradox dropped their support and Salem was erased from my hardrive I could not find a download site.
