Items dropped can't be picked up close to other objects

Today I bought some drowsing rods. I was transferring them to my inventory and ctrl-clicked instead of shift-clicked the item by mistake. I was freaking out because they were right beside a barrel. I thought I wouldn't be able to pick them up. But after a few tried I was successful. I was lucky.

This is obviously a bug. If an item is on the ground next to a structure or something else, as long as it isn't under or blocked by that object, one should be able to pick it up.

I haven't seen a bug report on this, so thought I would bring it up. I'm sure most everyone is aware of it, but it needs to be fixed.

There are times where one cannot pick up an item js.. Being able to pick up their item they did get lucky lol.

Obvious bug that anyone who has been playing for any sort of time as ran into. This happens when foraging/trying to pick up items that are too close to objects or on a slightly different elevation as well.

Or when you get ko'd from a snake bite while afk running back to base (I clicked on the map and went to the bathroom quick) and run into a tree resulting in half your items being "stuck" under the tree after you get ko'd. Almost had the stump gone when they disappeared (98%). I spent too long trying to actually find the place XD .
