I'm open to that but if you notice in my 2nd picture I kinda already made an attempt to gate it again and it still didn't work. Is there any word if that effects one whole "direction" of the wall or if its just the tiles that won't accept the gate? I'm up to 4 cornerposts with no gate now so its getting a bit costly to "experiment".

That's the downside of trying to learn the mechanics of fence building with the stone hedge. :( It probably won't be too hard to solve once the devs get a chance to turn their attention to it, but it's a tedious one for us players that, in general, is pretty easy to avoid. The bug being, of course, that it doesn't allow for human error or one-off misplacement on the grid while building the fence.
