Who exactly is "You"? Are they the Black and Brown people you see moving into your town? Are they the single mother just trying to raise her kid? Who do you think these people are who are stealing your money are? I pay taxes. I've never been on welfare. The truth is that everybody is this mythical "You" Darwoth, even you. You drive on roads payed with taxes. You eat safe food that's transported on those roads payed with taxes. You have Fire Protection and Police Protection and, yes, Environmental Protection that are payed for with taxes. You benefit daily from taxes in so many ways you don't even understand. You are the "You" Darwoth.

Taxes are what we pay for a decent society where everyone has a chance. If you don't like it vote for whatever "Ayn Rand insanity mouthpiece" you can dig out of your local Klan meeting or Tea Party Bircher/Birther potluck down at the retirement home.

annnnd yet more ***** because you have no way of justifying why you think you have the right to open someones wallet and remove their money that they earned to give to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuqKNNm2SH0

and as you fully ***** know nobody is complaining about paying taxes to pay for fire departments, police, military, roads and so on. rather the neverending flood of socialist handouts that your ilk use to bribe other ***** for their vote and that is the reason why the country is going bankrupt.

additionally (not that it matters) my police department is funded by local county taxes, my roads (and most non interstate roads) are paid for by local county taxes and there is not a fire department for 150 miles in any direction that is not a volunteer fire department.

Taxes aren't stealing....

Isn't that what the chief says (more or less), too? ;)

Either way, if you want to live in a "rich" country with governmental services and access to things, you put up with the way things are. This is the cost of having organization. If you value your freedoms more than your safety, you can always pick a banana republic. There are options other than African dictatorships that want to go to war and ethnically cleans their territory. Why don't you find these in the Western Hemisphere? The high US taxes and a foreign policy that won't put up with it. Instead, they all want our tourist and banking money. (Cuba slipped through our fingers... damn Soviets!!! :P )

It is called "voting with your feet." Many people around the world have done it for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. If you don't like where you are living, you can always move. This is one of the reasons that the right to vote is considered inalienable. Nobody can ever force you to choose to live a certain way if you don't want to. Sometimes it calls for hard choices and the bad is chosen because the alternatives are much worse (such as entering into slavery), but there are always choices.

@Ikpeip: "My" political cartoons? Didn't we have a discussion about comedy and such? Since you posted a Condi Rice cartoon, thought I'd post one of my own: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxsRc_l7NzE (Personally, I find the one you posted entirely too stereotyped, even for a political cartoon, and racist.) Am I not the one trying to be open-minded here about different viewpoints? Personally, I have found Mrs Rice to be an intelligent woman and worthy of the position she held. (I wish I could say the same for Bush....)

I think this discussion was held back in 1912-13 prior to the ratification of the 13th amendment:

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

And prior to that many, many more times. After all, we revolted not over taxation, but the lack of any representation in the King's court or Parliament. (We were all a bunch of separatists, anyway, to start with. It was the same Pilgrims, who a couple of generations earlier, had lead a rebellion in England and overthrew the King if I remember my history correctly.

I am, however, open for the discussion on whether taxes are right or wrong or whether we really should live in an anarchist world.

The truth is that there really isn't a country in the world that non-filthy rich republicans could feel comfortable in. There are plenty of countries (Monoco, Bahamas, Caymans) that the obscenely rich can move to but for someone who's worth less than 10 million good luck finding a conservative nation that looks anything like what their delusional world view looks like. The Bahamas and Caymans are still going to have a majority black population (85%) and you'll need to learn French to live in Monaco.

I have every way of justifying taxes. It's what made this country what it is over the last 100 years since they passed an income tax. Socialist handouts like Social Security and Medicare that keep our elderly out of poverty are incredibly popular even with elderly republicans. Just because you hate them doesn't mean the rest of America does. Taxes are taxes. Your local taxes go to plenty of social programs including Crisis centers, housing assistance, and most of medicaid. They also go to your schools and other infrastructural society programs. Even your volunteer fire department's equipment and buildings are paid for with local taxes.

What do you think taxes go for? An incredibly small portion of local, state and federal taxes go to non-retirement social programs such as Head Start, WIC, Food Stamps or Medicaid. They make up less than 12% of our budget. Nobody but Aryan Rand Nut Job believers like you want to see Social Security or Medicare retirement program be cut significantly. Do they need to be adjusted? Yes, but they're not going anywhere soon. I don't think you understand how few people actually believe what you do Darwoth. You listen to this little bubble of information from the right wing pseudo-journalists and believe the country is on your side when really you're alone, bitter, surrounded and doomed to irrelevance.

i do not give a flying ***** about whatever semantics are contained within the labrynths of 100 year old legalese written at a time when the current situation was unfathomable, at the end of the day liberals want to steal yet more and more money from people who earned it to give to those who sit on their fat ass ***** out their 20th future leach with their half dozenth "father" before he was whisked away to prison for a driveby or cooking meth in his backyard.

that is the entire argument, not century old debates over taxation in general

...all your missing in your description is their race Darwoth.

Go ahead and say it. You know you want to. Go ahead and say what race or creed you think those people you're describing are.

You're so far into your delusional, racist, bitter world view Darwoth that it's funny to see how far you've gone. Liberals like me can only sit back and laugh at your insanity.

i have no problem being "racist" when the reasons for my racism are true.

the only reason i was as candid (if you can call it candid, i did post a video from the horses mouth after all) as i was is because this is not my message board. in any case my disdain applies equally to all ***** on the public dole, it just so happens that the majority fit into a certain demographic.

(and meth cooking is typically above the average intelligence level of your typical ghettobanger, so it would appear you yourself have some latent "racism" to automatically jump to the conclusion i was only referencing blacks   )

The majority of people on welfare aren't black.

The reasons for your racism is because you've been brainwashed by your parents and family. Your stereotypes are not true.

The funniest part about your comedically idiotic model of racism (fat white southern guy spouting nonsense) is that you can't even see yourself for what you look like or how hilariously simple your world view is.

i also love the constant moronic badgering about "glurp glurp nobody thinks like you darwoth, your doomed. doooooooomed!" from some ***** ******* that has proven several dozen times on these very message boards what a gullible know nothing that he is.

1> i have lived all across this country from east coast to west, have owned and sold several businesses and my associates along with thousands of people i have met over my life are not based on an internet forum but the real world. the ONLY places that the majority of the population do not hold similar views as myself is in a large city, even most "blue states" fit this as the giant metropolitan **** magnet in them is what turns them "blue". (which is what won obama the election, for example less than 1% margin in florida thanks to miami getting 29 electoral votes, and a 3% margin in virginia thanks to the ***** in the northern half of the state underneath of DC getting another 13, everybody in nevada HATES obama but since the casino unions in reno and vegas control the states politics there goes another 6 votes for the scumbag)

2> i do not care if i am the last person in the country to have the non communist belief system, it does not affect me one way or the other. i can afford to do what i want and live how i want for the rest of my life, i have no children so i am unconcerned about them inheriting a legacy of socialism once i am gone. if you ***** succeed in bankrupting the country with your socialism there are lots of places and ways i can safeguard what i have earned to keep your hands off of it so i will simply be watching from my living room with a bemused smirk on my face like i do now before continuing on business as usual.

this is what the breakdown of the country REALLY looks like when it comes to who agrees with me vs you claeyt, note that all of the "yous" live in isolated metropolitan bubbles, of which if they all vanished tommorrow the country would continue to get along just fine. you are nothing more than a cancer that has made the country sick.
