I understand this Colsie. Yet you are given a position and you act immature at it. You do not need to be paid to act like an adult.

IT is as simple as that. Colsie got dumped on by that dude and Colsie had to take his parting shots like some lil kid who has to get the last word in. Very unprofessional. Course I have watched Colsie since he joined this site. And as I said how he got a mod position is beyond me. OH and I am a moderator for an international magazine. So yes I know all about being a mod. But over there it is done right. That is was sets me off about the modding here how unprofessional most of you are and how things are done. IT is horrible.

Cool story bro.

Gosh, that is an impressive degree of angry right there and I seriously cannot understand the root here. That was meant to diffuse things a bit because it was playing off of the humor of the entire thing but I think you're here to rave about something we've got no control over. You want us to have no personalities and to never post (it's worth noting that people have and continue to get angry at us when we silently moderate as well, so don't think we win either way) but that is not going to happen. You probably want to just send a PM to JLo if you feel that strongly.

Actually I am not mad at all was killing time waiting for a download to finish. And your logic for the "cool story bro" is exactly what I was talking about. You take a conversation that had no need for the comment and you add it in. Then you come back with wow you must really be mad? Honestly I am not mad. I just think the way you guys do things is immature and ran like a circus. Got a thread that needs modding? Send in the dancing bears. That is what it looks like.

Again with your feelings. If your feelings get hurt modding? Get out of it. And if you have to get the last word in like our lil friend Colise did, well then I guess you got other problems to worry about. Anyhow time to move on. Said what I wanted, saw what I needed to see. Same result as before the posting. Nothing will change.
I am stopping now Closie here is your chance for the last word and some stupid comment or pic.
Carry on.

Good evening,

Childish mocking when he's complaining about childish mocking is unlikely to defuse the situation.

TeckXKnight wrote:You want us to have no personalities and to never post (it's worth noting that people have and continue to get angry at us when we silently moderate as well, so don't think we win either way)

That's clearly not what he's asking for. He's asking for a minimum amount of professionalism when you moderate. You're being disingenuous offering up the complaints about when you "silently moderate" as a no-win situation. The complains about silent moderation are over basic details being provided - such as who is taking the moderation action, why the action is being taken, and/or the severity of the action. Failing to provide those details is also a failure to maintain professionalism. The "win" here would be moderators conducting their duties, providing the relevant information why (which in addition to helping prevent further offenses, will also mitigate complaints in response), without taking cheap parting shots or being blatantly disrespectful. This isn't hard to do, and pretending it's some unreasonable standard to be held to is just silly.

TeckXKnight wrote:You probably want to just send a PM to JLo if you feel that strongly.

This is true - you've said your piece and they've said theirs, Argost. Manage your expectations if you do send a PM to the powers that be - they are very protective of their moderators, and the moderators would not be acting this way if they didn't know they could get away with it.

Faithfully,

I find that hard to believe considering that you can't even write in complete sentences in English, let alone other languages.

Mods, save yourself some time and just go ahead and permaban this retard. Thanks.

I not happy with the Biddas ban, however I hope he cools off and does not quit the game. What I don't understand is why does the ban keep you from checking your messages?

To my understanding all phpbb boards just block you from every forum function while you are banned, including private messages.
