Can I Delete Characters?

topic says it all , cant seem to find it answered anywhere.

The bear living in my camp has made life interesting, but getting here i have made several characters and dont want to keep most of them.
can i cage the bear and have a fight pit?

Only way to remove a character from the list is to have it killed.
