There was once a young butterfly. He flapped around the forest gazing all that there was to gaze upon and enjoying his newfound wings. Each evening for his two week lifespan he would land upon the same Oak Tree and proudly declare:

"I have seen all there is to see, I have flown all there is to fly. While you, stupid Tree, have sat here a lifeless shard of wood never changing, never growing I pity you stupid tree"

Finally on the 15th day of the Butterfly's life he died. His corpse lay motionless on the branch of the mighty Oak Tree. The Oak Tree sprouted a new leaf, grew a new branch, and inched his way higher into the heavens. He shed a small tear knowing that the naive little butterfly didn't live to see his changes. A month later a new butterfly landed on the branch of said tree and declared:

"I have seen all there is to see, I have flown all there is to fly. While you, stupid Tree, have sat here a lifeless shard of wood never changing, never growing I pity you stupid tree"

The Oak Tree is Salem,
The Branch is the Forums,
Guess who you are?

to be fair, devs talk to basically everyone in #salem, it hardly matters if you are a mason or not, but it is what you say that matters.
possibly spamming to ask them questions at the same time may tire them or stop them talking, but you never know when they start feeling like talking.

and yes the info posted here had been mentioned in IRC, i at least heard more than twice now. if you want to hear these things directly, you can always join IRC channel and lurk there ...well, unless you annoy me enough to make me kick you.
be warned, though, that they dont chat all the time, and dont rely on their timezones because they are legitimate vampires.
(and potjeh, you even have a better channel to directly talk to them yet you hardly come to chat!)

I don 't do IRC, mibbit crashes on me and I can't be bothered to install a real client.

http://cgiirc.synirc.net/

Client I like to use. It's a web client, so no downloading/installing, just type your name and channel, with a lot less crap than mibbit.
