No, nobody is supposed to get special treatment because they're a member of one group or another.

What was the link to (think the report said youtube channel)? I think it came up before, but I'm of the opinion that if it's to a public resource that can be googled via forum user name, it's hardly private personal information. I found it in about 30 seconds not knowing which link on the first page to click. I knew it was the right one when I saw that 3-day bearded mug. I don't recall that ever being the consensus among the mod team, though, so I'm just expressing my opinion, not the way we'll actually deal with the issue.

I removed a link to my youtube channel from the OP because it was a link to a privatized video. I'm actually not sure how he even got the link, but it was not intended for the public; thus the setting

Completely off the subject, but would be nice if private videos on youtube had a list of "accepted" viewers (not familiar enough with it, though).

The problem is that people have been warned and banned before for such things and myself took a warning along with a lashing in private for posting his poop song. If I remember correctly retri and/or wishy took a ban for a similar occurrence. I have also along with others been warned for posting shooped pics of people posted on these forums.

The response to why he wasn't even warned is because he is a master mason. With his case as to knowing the rules of the forums should constitute a ban like I and other select people would be under at this moment for similar actions.

Bans and warning have been given for posting pictures on this forum.

It was at the point in time when I linked it. If you "switched" it to private after the fact then that doesn't change if it was public when I posted it. MagicMan confirmed that the video was easily located with a Youtube search. I think it was "horrible music by canadians". Or something like that.

I don't know which video was linked and coles hasn't told me in private, so I don't know if you can find it on a search. My understanding is that you're not supposed to be able to if it is set as private. I'm not a YouTube contributor (I just like leaving snarky comments on videos ) As khaztropix points out, it's not hard to find his channel.
