Where YGM protected the innocent, YGM day did the opposite. Boredom must be getting to people.

Nice to know that Roanoke also has power trippers that kill random people for lols with a bad excuse.
The only interesting thing that happened was Darwoths trap, failed or not.

Yep, to all this.

That Darwoth trap was pretty big and nerve racking. It would've been the death of a huge character and adds a whole new level to base protection. He's been on Roanoke a lot. He must be bored fighting weak Pirates on Jamestown.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

From what I understand is that thoze said pirates arent a threat. They are more bark then bite.

Darwoth is an experienced schemer... Give it some time, Jamestown tears will flow soon.

There are so many people who don't get into this ***** and just play the game, and let's not even start talking about the crazy Russians that own the darkness to the West... The guy dealt 153 damage when they raided us...

I accept the challenge & I challenge your mayor to a 1 vs 1

I personally think the first YGMday was a success !!

Unfortunately, I didn't had the chance to participate a lot, because Darwoth really wanted our romantic dinner happening on this special day.

I do agree with the comments about people not being informed enough, hence i suggested this.
It would be nice to have an ingame messageboard or warning-system.

FYI, Colesie & Chief are NOT part of the Candy Gang, I did gave them permissions to kill non-believers on this very special day.

I appreciate the help from anyone who helped us today, doesn't matter if it was killing people, financial support for the candlelight dinner with darwoth, emotional support or even the rage & tears you shared !!
I'm looking forward to next week !! (imho we should have a 2nd weekly holiday)

It was not a success unless you're actively trying to drive people from the game. By my count from what the Chief and Colesie said, 10 characters were killed, none of them over 50 humours. Only 2 acknowledged even knowing about it but thought it was only in Roanoke, not in the whole world. 1 other told me she had absolutely no idea why she was killed. All of the ones I talked to said that they had been willing to take off their mask or did, but were killed anyways.

5 of those people quit the game today and the server shrank

I don't know where you 2 are going with this but it will kill the server and kill the game if you keep doing it. We will be the size of Plymouth within a month. I'm begging you not to continue with it if you want the game to live. HnH just had an influx of characters off of that big game review and some of them may end up here.

As of now I'm going to inform every noob I meet to run if they ever see a Candy Kid or the Chief or Colesie's character outside of town and to not contact them for any crimes committed against them. I just want them to get a chance before someone 100x bigger than them one shot's them.

Alloin, I don't think you remember how hard it was to raise a character from 5 to 20 with no structures or fields or experience. You're killing weeks of work for these noobs in some cases if they're casual and they will quit. I don't know if you're bored or what, but it makes me sick that you and Binks are doing this for sport after what the Candy Gang did this last spring for the server. There's a reason why Roanoke is 3 times bigger than Plymouth most days.

That you let Colesie and the Chief sport hunt noobs and scam them at the Arena in the name of the Candy Gang and YGM makes me want to puke.

I'd like my 2000s that I loaned to Waca and Greb so that they could save you at the earliest possible convenience.

Again, please reconsider this idiotic noob killing. Only 10% of players even read the forums. You're only killing people who don't even know why.

Edit:

Make that maybe 6 people quitting the game now.

I would never kill someone without reason, I will get terribly bored if no crimes get reported, so in a way, you will help Roanoke fail more...

5-20 is done in what ? 4-8 hours ? (with a fresh character & no help)
It is not a sport, it's honoring the best player ever

Everyone is allowed to kill people with a mask on sunday, I just happened to be taking a nap in Darwoth's Keep, which made most of the Candy Gang members distracted from assisting & participating on this glorious day.

I will be sure you get your silver back asap !

Claeyt wrote:Again, please reconsider this idiotic noob killing. Only 10% of players even read the forums. You're only killing people who don't even know why they're dying.

Then let this be a good reason to get our ingame messageboard, a game with politics should have a decent channel to spread the word, or at least players smart enough to read a couple pages of instructions on a forum/website !!

You can see the bump on the 12th of a couple of hundred people. They've had massive lag the last 2 days.

Killing someone for wearing a mask with no warning, unless they're one of the 10% that read the forums is killing without reason.

I will not tell anyone to come to you for help with crimes if you may kill them without warning on a Sunday. They'll think I was part of them dying for no reason.

If you have experience and knowledge of gluttony, yes. Most noobs I talk to who play maybe 4-5 hrs a day take up to a week or 2 to get to 20.

You are not honoring YGM in any way with this. It is a sport. Colesie and the Chief were keeping score on how many they had killed.

It was an ugly, ugly day that pissed off too many people to count. People were at each other's throats yesterday. Whole sections of the server are now against you guys and are simply trying to hide now.

I helped get that cash for them to get you out because of your's and their reputation of helping the server and helping to grow the population. I would do it again, but this YGM day killing ***** has already gone to far. It will kill the game at this fragile population level.

That's up to the dev's for the message board. It's a good idea. I hope they do it.

Most people might check the forum for one or two things, but don't read it completely or daily. They will have no knowledge of this sport killing of noobs, and with no warning from anybody, and with Colesie and the Chief scamming them into leaving town. They'll die and quit the game.

Again, please take into consideration my suggestion of KO'ing offenders and stripping them and giving their clothes and mask away as event prizes or in the gift box. Death is too much for just unknowingly offending by wearing a mask and will kill the game.

Also, I'd suggest that an official Candy Gang member be present for Judgement and or the actual killing. Colesie and the Chief were out of control yesterday, according to 3 witnesses, they killed several people, in the name of the Candy Gang, who had unknowingly or inadvertently wore a mask but then took it off right away after being warned or informed of the rules by other players. They also killed at least one friend of a person who had unknowingly worn a mask, but the friend who was killed had not worn a mask.

Again, Where do you see this going? How does this help the game grow? Right now this event, unlike your others is actively killing the game.
