I don't know about jwhitehorn, but I am sincerely concerned about the safety and well being of new players that are recruited to Claeyt's slave camp. I think it is time for somebody to take a stand and do what is right and remove the Swamp Criminals. Just because they don't leave scents, doesn't mean they aren't in the wrong. Please CG, for the good of the colony, remove the swamp criminals and release these pilgrims from enslavement of the criminal mastermind Belathor. It must be done.
You honestly think The Swamp Folk village is a slave camp? What could they possibly benefits from us chipping stone for them? Everyone I met so far all benefited from the village and we hadn't given much to the village. I put a log on a sawdust because I needed to make boards and left it there when I was finished, otherwise I hadn't given the village anything.

You are implying that pvp turns people away from the game but that is far from the truth.
Permadeath is part of the game and if they can't handle it then this isn't the game for them.
I'm sure you are a "great" developer with that game i have never heard of.

The guy is right but also wrong, PVP makes this game what it is, Permadeath makes it what it is but what the problem is... People focus new players, PvP isn't a small part of this game it's the biggest part and crime is the biggest part as you will see anywhere on any server, even the powers that enforce it get bored and corrupt and so spin things to kill people
The problem is not that there is PVP and this game does have cooperation but... you don't have anyone in this game and it's a harsh world, find someone and stick with them, make a small base and i don't been ****** wood walls and chests all outside the clame that is 3x3 and you should be fine and if you want to live here... simply do not trust anyone, simple as that, as soon as i learn that and got a few friends i can trust this game has become a lot more fun and a lot easier but anyway back to the pvp thing, PVP is not the problem but it seems their focus is on all the defless and new players which doesn't give them a chance to even learn but they will say thats not true because to them you being alive while you are new is your 1st mistake -shrugs-
You will make mistakes but I don't believe you should die because of minor ones

No, I don't. The log is still there, I'm the only one who used it. I'm just grateful there was a sawdust I could use since i couldn't even afford one. I'm about to start farming and I'll be using all the humus and fertilizers they let me use. If things go well, I'll provide some of the result for other villagers to use but that is barely cover all the start I use to begin.
My point is, they have given me more than I could pay them back. They didn't even ask me to pay them back. They just say, go ahead, whatever you need.

That is amazing, Chief makes you pay to have your own land and over on that server they don't even make you pay to use theirs
