But since then the worlds have been expanded and many sneak updates have been thrown in/new things have been discovered such as new studies, skull mechanics and so on

Hnh gets significant updates even if hidden and has a growing population. Salem gets pockets and the population goes down.

Probably around the same time as the last time that salem had more then 100 people online. ¦]
