In that case, both parents might as well be stay at home people. Free food, free living assistance, [completely] free medical...what isn't there to like. If the wife is 'working' to provide for the family she is doing it wrong, imo.

Hehe, it's up to people if they want to read it or not, don't say sorry ^_^
only reason i went Tl:dr on that other bloke was because he kinda did the same, only difference was that he did not write it :D.

You're def the most manly girl i've ever seen if that is correct, think i remember you posted a picture some time ago :)

The only difference between Sweden and Denmark, is that we chose to deal with the confrontations a long time ago, back then they were good a pointing fingers. we still have problems with certain groups but no where near what they are experiencing in Sweden atm. we could point fingers at them. but i really just hope that information is exchanged and experience is gained instead :)

also when staying in a country, one should always learn about the rules and tradition. it's common sense everyone saying otherwise is not really thinking about it.
i'm a sailor, and i've been a lot of places, each place with their set of rules. and i have yet to encounter any problems with rules, because i take my time to read up about it, (mainly when i go to Africa and middle east)

Get used to it guys.
55% of college grads are women now, and in something like 35% of families the woman makes more. Welcome to the 21st century, Neanderthals.

I recommend everyone to put up their pictures on that thread of Colesie's also. (I'm looking at you Chief)

To it's credit, Sweden does have a pretty big immigrant population. It's a European problem that Americans have also but we have a bit of a leg up on you guys, because it's easy to change what an 'American' looks like or sounds like.

That being said, nobody moves their whole family to a new country and doesn't expect to change who they are. Right now Sweden doesn't have a lot of those 4th and 5th generations of immigrants to help and show the 1st and 2nd generations how to integrate into Swedish Society. They'll get there eventually, and in the process the definition of 'Swedish' will change.

Monkeys as a household pet is also on the rise. Almost 15,000 monkeys are now kept as pets and are being taught to do amazing things like clean, open doors, and turn the lights out before bed. Call me crazy but I still think they belong in the trees and are better at swinging from branches than they are from chandeliers.

Nobody here is arguing that society is pushing women out of the home and into the workplace. We are just highlighting how silly it is.

Want to know a statistic that has mirrored women in the workplace? Divorce. You might think you want a woman "strong" enough to be in the workplace just long enough to marry them. But it doesn't take long to realize the most attractive qualities of women are in fact not suited for such a place and those that do well there are hardly worth the company and don't belong anywhere near your offspring.

Actually, I may have spoke too soon. There IS a good place for women in the workplace that can increase the productivity of a company and drastically increase the morale of the more capable workers. Looks like Claeyt was right after-all.

I'm guessing you don't have a girlfriend then.

I'm going to rest my case after this post of yours. It pretty much proves my points for me I think.

jwhitehorn would like the Moistboyz

Moistboyz - American Made and Duty-Free
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YoxK9oJRzc
Lyrics to American Made And Duty-Free :
Home town girls ain't comin' to the square dance anymore
Day by day and more and more the go struttin' out the door
They all got cars and big careers and they never stay at home
These modern girls are killin' me that's why I'm so alone
Got big ol' arms and a pack of smokes and a shoulder made to size
For a pretty little girl with a face like yours and big ol' baby eyes
Why you gotta get with politics and usin' all your brains
Just stay at home and fetch the beer so I can watch the game

Little girl I wanna be a big man
Bein' what a man as meant to be
There ain't no city **** can do for you
What you can do for me

Jolie said that we'd get married right on christmas day
But some big **** for san francisco carried her away
In a little sports car with tinted glass said made in germany
I don't see what so special that I ain't got in me
My chevy barrels over all the mud you'd want to see
Got multi-colored flannel shirts you might wanna press for me
Jolie what's your reasoning to up and fly away?
Got more of what a woman needs for rollin' in the hay

Little girl I wanna be a big man
Bein' what a man as meant to be
There ain't no city **** can do for you
What you can do for me

Frenchmen ain't not good for you they never seem to bathe
Their smelly food and wino drool just don't make the grade
Goin' off to college ain't gonna do you any good
I'll mend the fence and mow the law just like I said I would
I'll saddle up the horses and even take the time
To say hello to your weirdo friends who ain't no friends of mine
So if you ever want me I'll be standin' in the weeds
I'm american made and duty-free and that's all a woman needs
