Client crash while aggroed by a argopelter

So there I log back and there I lay, KO'd while constantly attacked by the damn beast. Where the hell is my fault in this ?!!?! I'm mad, but still not to the point to quit this game. So skipping past the rage of losing a full inventory of pelter skins and God know how many hours/days till I can respawn back ... IS THERE A WAY TO AVOID THIS **** IN THE FUTURE ? I'm using latest Java, should i downgrade to a previous more stable version ? Also what now ? When will I be able to log back and play ?

No more than one hour, just dont log in, and let the tiles refresh.

A blast lol .... system crash=permadeath. I have more and more mixed feelings about this game. Ty for your replies, but also - What is the most stable Java version for Salem Ender client ?

What I do when hunting argopelters, is exit the program, and restart it. That will give more than enough crash free time to kill a few packs.
But yeah, I do agree that it is a major annoyance.

I also restart the program before I walk thourgh gates with valuable stuff in my inventory.
Idem before taking a boat or canoe ride.

Basically, before you do anything where a badly timed crash can screw you, first exit and restart.

I hear that even dowgrading to Java6 does not help anymore.
Not sure if vannila client has these issues as well. Perhaps not, but the camera is just as bad.

What is the most stable Java version for Salem Ender client ?

Java 6, I never had a crash with it.

Try to argohunt with 2 people btw, makes it way easier !

I usually hunt with a friend, but I have no problem hunting them pesky little birds by myself if he is offline. I got to the point where I put them down without getting hit, providing I lure them to my special hunting spot. I will try donwgrading to java 6, thx for the advice.

I think there simply is a memory leak due to not unloading terrain / minimap data. It might not cause a crash if you have a lot of RAM I guess.
