what is copper worth?

i found a copper node using a 24% rod( couldnt see the node when i switched to a 14%) so im assuming its gunna be a decent purity. im just wondering if theres a market for copper bars before i setup a mine for it

The only use of pure copper bars is alchemy tools. Purity influences the speed of work of those tools.
However, alchemy tools are not very useful nowadays.

You can make copper into nails, so about as much as 5 handfuls of nails.
You can also mix it in with your iron to get better purity if your copper is better purity than your Iron, but that is typically too much bother.
