I do not in anyway ever click 'display this post' when I have a user ignored. That would be kind of like when you are trying to ignore somebody, but everybody always quotes that person so you have to read it anyways.

This games forums has just turned into a Teenagers Mud throwing playground.

Claeyt is right, a hostile forum will discourage new players. Someone, (Coles?), said that a good game will stand on it's own, but Salem is not a good game Yet. It's going to be a good game some day but at this time, it's boring and grindy and very difficult to understand. Impossible without the wiki and the Help section of the forum. If new players come in here and see negative feelings and hostility everywhere, they're going to find a different game, because why get invested in a game that looks like it's going nowhere? Why try to play a game that requires a lot of social interaction when it looks like the players are assholes?

I think it's cute how staxjax claims to have Claeyt on ignore but still feels compelled to respond to Claeyt's posts, and in a way that looks very much like he read those posts.

Please don't bash the game or claeyt will have to start hiding your quotes also.

PS: To all you HnH fans, you done what you set out to do, totally destroy salem, ruin the forums, become mods, turn the game into a piece of ****, so Jorb and lofta go back to HnH.

They should just publish the Salem source code (specifically the server side code & DB schemas since the client side code is available and art assets) and let us make a fan-based version of the game. I would definitely work on such a project nights and weekends -- still gotta keep my day job to pay the bills ofc =)

p.s. release the server side code going back to version just prior to the as above so below patch
