There has been heated arguments going on over and forth for quite some time now.
Those arguments even reached a stage where there was such a gap between mods and others, that it was no longer possible for said mods to do some of their basic tasks; moderate the forums objectively, with credible authority.

This lead to people sending PMs to jorb, thus wasting jorb's dev time.
Understandably, the most efficient answer to said PM's, to avoid losing even more precious dev time, was at first a shut up and be nice, and later a stfu.

Now why would Dallane keep doing exactly that, which has stirred up so much of these conflicts, namely, bash Salem on every opportunity he gets?
Does he really want jorb to be getting more PMs again soon, wasting dev time?

Please Dallane (and others), go ahead and troll, can be quite fun, for you can at times be an adept troll. But pick a new trolling subject, bashing Salem is not helping, and is getting old.

Dallane is not the only one I'm pointing fingers at. Many players are not helping the game population grow. I did not say anyone was breaking the rules here. I do think that the Spam warnings and Derail warnings could be better done. Here's hoping we stop having to go back and forth about the same thing. I'm willing to stop bashing him, if he's willing to stop bashing the game.

You know what, it is a broken record. It's a broken record listening to Dallane and others bash the game while not even playing the game. I'll skip the same scratch as long as they're doing it so as to show new players that some people really like playing this game and that Salem's future is that it will hopefully grow again.

Yeah, and this. I don't care about conflicts between mods/CG/MM whatever. I'm just an independant Salem player who still enjoys the game. I know quite a few people on Roanoke (including quite a few players that joined after the above and below update) who do enjoy playing Salem.
I don't like being called delusional, or a retard for that. I would report it if I thought that would help, but I guess that's a waste of time. And I refuse to waste dev time by PMing jorb.
Just because certain people don't like to play the game in it's current state, does not give them a right to judge others for their personal likes.

So wait, are you saying that the majority of the people on this forum dislike playing Salem, or the majority of forum posters enjoy playing this game? Why would you think that the majority of the people on this forum dislike playing Salem, if that is what you're saying?

36,000 accounts means people have tried the game, not that they hate the game. Again, why would anybody stick with the forum of a game they don't like? Why would they post on it every single day even tho they never play the game any more and don't like the game as it is? The majority of the people that use this forum do not hate the game. They may dislike where the game is at and think that it needs to be fixed but they don't hate it. They may be in hibernation mode until the game changes or they have more free time but they don't dislike the game in it's entirety.

Most importantly they don't bash the game continuously and daily, discouraging new players who read the forums from sticking with the game and worrying about the future of the game.

Why do you keep refering to people 'hating the game'? People that truly hate this game make epic ragequit posts and then never return. I'm pretty sure nobody (not even Dallane) hates Salem.

It's more important that I'm not only blaming Dallane and that I don't think you guys "hate" the game. All I'm asking for is for you to take it easy on the game for those of us putting in the time trying to help it grow.

I'm directing this at everyone who bashes the game/population who isn't playing the game. If you want to see this game get better, then by all means point out the flaws and give constructive criticisms, I encourage you to do so. If you dislike the game and want to troll the forum, and post how much better HnH is, or repeatedly point out the game flaws over and over on a daily basis, or just plain hate on the active players, feel free to do so under the rules, but I'm going to respond that I enjoy the game and point out that the person bashing the game no longer plays it and is not contributing to the forums or the game's growth.

I will respond that I really love the game, even with it's flaws.

I'm doing this so that none of the new players I direct to the forums for help are discouraged by the troll bashing of the game or that they then worry about the future of the game and then decides to give it up. I'm trying to help the game grow, and be positive and optimistic. Feel free to post whatever you want, just don't expect to not get called out that you're not even playing the game anymore.
