My only question is are any of you actually playing the game, because if you're not playing this game more than HnH then why are you moderating this game's forum's? Are you helping this game grow and helping new players get into this game or are you just modding a near-dead game's forums.

If you want to play both, then do that, but don't sit on HnH and not play this game and mod it's players. Because that is *****.

I am sorry for stating what I see as a problem that has been adressed, but to which I've failed to see a rational response.

First off, let me state that I have no personal grudges whatsoever against any mod, or poster.
I post this as a player who really likes Salem, and who has been trying hard to help retain player numbers, at least on Roanoke.
Be it by playing the court jester dressed in funny cloth, in Roanoke city, grouping up random people for silly screenshots, selling my purity boards, or by throwing around some free legacy humus, pumpkins and other nicities.

It just annoys the crap out of me, and I know for sure, also a lot of other folks, to see these, and other people's efforts, that have nothing to do whatsoever with whatever forbidden love jerk circles might be around here,
be undermined over and over again by some folks who seem to have only one intent, to bash Salem at any opportunity they get.
I don't know what their motives are.
Maybe they want you devs to quit Salem and go back to fulltime H&H development?
Maybe they just think they are funny, or rather, they don't think?
I don't know. I can't read their minds.

What saddens me most, is that some of the mods actively engage in this Salem bashing as well.

Now I'm not saying that mods should play Salem. It would be nice, but I can see mods being able to do their modding thing without the need of actually playing.
But I am saying that a mod team (I am not calling names. You are a team, and the behaviour of whichever individiual member shines off on the team as a whole) that allows for, or even participates in argumentless repeated bashing of the game for which they mod the forums, is doing a ****** job.

I care only about the future. I have taken over administration of the forums, and every future action that you are dissatisfied with you may refer to me, but forgiveness and reconciliation are more important than anything else right now. I realize that whatever doubts may entertain about this and that may not go away, and it is not important that they do, but I must insist that the sins of the past be left in the past. We're trying this once more, from the top, and with feeling.
