Paradox is no more on this forums, but that doen't mean mods can fak the rules and do what they want to... coles, green text still should be serious.
Otherwise we no longer need mods in here.

Idea...
instead of mods implement forum-reputation and people with rep below 0 would have weekly cap for posts like 10/week and 1 new thread/week :)
Votes can be made only by people with 200+ posts for first 2 weeks after that add rule 200+ posts and rep above 50.

Good idea! I will awaken the Sabinati

As for me... no I will never learn that one thing :)

Coles wants sabatini to create many new accounts with 200+ posts to abuse my idea. Guess that posts per week for new account would be nice in that case, but devs doesn't like too many rules :(

What about the new players that have questions on how to do things in the game? I dont think it would be good to limit them in such a way.

I have to agree with sebastion on this if a new player set up a trade shop on the forums then had a question or found a bug it would make it a 3 week process to post.

Ya, reputation systems are nice but only if a community is sufficiently large that it can self-regulate them. The Salem community is not and you would have people very quickly gaming and abusing this system for malicious reasons. Any good that it could potentially do would be outweighed by the damage that it would do.

jorb and loftar too did stuff i dislike, but they have always been consistent in their own ways, while paradox brought a huge mess of inconsistency into this game to confuse basically everyone. people cannot enjoy playing a game with different sets of rules.

I haven't been in Salem since the beginning, could you give some examples of what Paradox did wrong in the game? I mean the game itself, not marketing.

As far as I'm concerned, multiple server thing wasn't Seatribe's idea [I am not 100% sure whether that's true however], and that is one thing I really disliked, Salem NEVER had enough players to fill just 1 server. Preparing the multiserver mechanics took several months - the works started way before the wipe in August, during which there were NONE development updates, thus, leaving us with 20-60 people per server at any given time and less content this day.
