FYI, the lag seems to be due to problems at the server host. I've tried to contact them, but unfortunately have not received a reply for several hours yet. I'm beginning to need some sleep, however, so I can only hope that they'll have seen me by the time I wake up again.

Oh dear God, it took me close to 15min. to log in on this forum and post this. I swear that if the latency would go higher than this, the game would start to go backwards ...
