However the amount of damage they do when grouped up is ridiculous. If you were to crash while trying to take out braziers you can pretty much say good bye to your character. Something needs to change otherwise people sub 200 will not be able to even get passed walls let alone reach the braziers to try and disable them. It's just not going to happen. As far as splash damage goes on walls I think its fine. Maybe make walls a little bit stronger but the idea was to stop people from building 8+ walls around their base that's not how the dev's meant the game to be. You can still wall stack if you are smart about your placement by the way.
So what I'm hearing from you is maybe up the Perma-damage a bit, but lower the actual damage. I always figured the perma-damage would be the tough one for you guys. I mean, every point lost would be like a shed of good food to regain, while the regular damage could just be a pile of crap food to regain, right? Also if you're knocked out after crashing can't your team just send you home? You'd lose a couple hours of walk time but you wouldn't die would you? Or can't you send someone home on someone else's claim?
What I'd like to see with splash is off claim splash hits starting up the braziers and hitting people who are in range not just those that attack claimed walls.
KitKat wrote:As for everything else you said the point we are making is that you can catch up, It's not impossible. We may have an advantage with time we invested in the game but well we earned it. Same goes for anyone else that's on our level. The people who played pre-purity nerf that didn't make it to titan status I don't think they will ever. They had so much time to do it and they didn't. Now they made it so much easier I'm interested to see what people can do. I wanna see more people with success in this game (I'm rooting for a lot of the new towns to do great). I think Yourgrandmother does as well and that's the point hes trying to make.
Really, not many people are complaining about it much anymore. We haven't had a good blowout about the Purity nerf in awhile on the forums. Proficieny bumps and Tiered food stopped alot of us from complaining about it anymore. I think people realize now that we're going to have tiered food with a cap of around 50% purity or something around there with the bins. I just don't think it's as easy with the tiered food to glutton. Impossible might have been to strong a word. It was impossible before tiered foods, but now maybe not. But it's still harder in my opinion.
Taking the high tiered 'Windy Pooh' as an example with it's 227.5 phlegm: You'd only have a 23% chance of hitting that number, while a 50% pie would have been a similar phlegm hit overall and with a much higher % directed chance for the best hit. I only ever got up to around 60% plants and bought my way to purity, but I ground up some. I remember how nice those specific pies were. Tiered food is a messy glutton and I think harder to make it to 500-1000, but it's complicated and up in the air as to what they're going to do next to food. We could see purity nails. We already have 16% boards being sold in the market. The dev's have stated that the tiered food numbers aren't fixed. Who knows what's going to happen with food.
Honestly, you and grandma and the gang are the main reason these big new peaceful, non-raiding towns are having the success they're having on Roanoke. Thanks from the whole server (Sorry Potjeh). I still think that if the CoD ever comes back that they'd take half these towns down in a month.
Braziers, folks, just because they look bad in your flower gardens doesn't mean you'll never need them.

Some of these towns think just because the Candy Gang is protecting the server and peace reigns throughout Roanoke it means they can build a massive town with only 20 braziers.
Darwoth in his own way, with his "harvesting the population" method

and of course the Tribe are doing it differently but with similar results. It's actually interesting to see how the servers are progressing with the different power structures in place and how safe each of them have actually become. Raiding is way down, for now.
