Not to complain or anything, just want to add input regarding the imbalance between players with unreachable god powers and harmless newbs who can never stand a chance at competing.
It just ruins a certain aspect of the game, the one that likely brought most people to try it. The permadeath aspect. Basically, if you reach the agricultural stage after the nerf, you are exempt from raiding, becoming a bounty hunter, or anything that isn't a peaceful farmer who hopes every day to remain un-noticed and un-raided. Because of that, they are the number one target of raiders.
Practically defensless, sitting ducks. One god char can simply walk by, take down several plank fences, destroy all of your tier 3 fields, steal all of your stuff, and ruin months worth of work in an hour. The farmer on the other hand simply cannot do anything about it. If he happens to track him, surprise, he claimed a leanto in side of a town claim with several layers of plank walls, and tons of blazers.
If the farmer even attempted to break in, the blazers will pwn him well before he could do considerable damage to a plank wall with his low humors.
What I'm trying to say, without sounding like I'm complaining, is that the aspect of the game that drew a lot of people in turned out to be a fraud. For this reason, all the people I started playing salem with have either stopped playing or quit for good. Not everybody wants to play the role of the peaceful farmer who hopelessly cowers in fear hoping somebody doesn't just swing in and ruin months worth of work without consequences.
We wanted to be bounty hunters once we reached end game... Now I'm just farming alone, planting trees, and stuff. Not as thrilling as I had hoped.
I don't mind farming, I like that part of the game. It's just that a lot find it boring, and it is boring playing by my self. Kinda takes away from the MMORPG aspect without people to play with.
Of course we'd have assholes with god chars them selves who will happily try to argue against this every chance they have, like that darmoth guy who calls everybody retarded, because clearly they don't want to loss the massive advantage they have over everybody else.

then less than a month after a wipe or new server all of the current quitters and whiners will find themself at the bottom of the pile again and ***** about whatever latest "unfair" outrage there is when their 15 stat **** character gets killed before once again quitting.
i am currently producing 16% humus, as time goes on that level will increase. however i am confident that with crops in that purity range and enough tier 3 fields i could make a 400 - 500 stat character already, the mechanics exist in the game to be competitive, perhaps you retards should have spent the last two months working with them instead of throwing your hands in the air and giving up expecting a handout in the form of a wipe after people like myself do all the testing/discovering/handholding/guide writing for you.
on jamestown there are 3 different players with "titans" i am aware of, of those three i am the only one still playing and the other two are locked in their old towns ruins unable to log on without being killed, so if someone wants a "titan free" server all they need do is settle on jamestown, stay away from my general area and you are unlikely to ever see one.

If a new wall type were to be added which could only be broken by using a timed tool such as a ram then there's no real problem with these uncapped humours considering you can just grind moar to fight them

colesie wrote:What I am saying is that walls will only become easier to break the higher your humours increase. It is possible to get incredibly high and uncapped humours so after a while players will be far too powerful for current mechanics. Increasing the wall strength isn't the answer because that only makes it harder for the average-humoured players and the higher players will only continue to get higher. True defense would mean an unbreakable by hand wall type such as brick walls in haven. Characters can grind their humours to the sky, but not to the point where no one else can prosper because their defenses are meaningless.
