You couldn't raise tree purity before the update, and amount of charcoal from pile is always 50 (minus any unscathed wood you get from it). Raising tree purity still benefited a lot from legacy humus, though.

It wouldn't be all that unlikely that people happened to have 100% pure earthworms and 100% pure trees before the update, and are now producing 100% pure humus because of that.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were producing 90-100% pure humus right now.

If the wiki states that, it really needs to be changed, because that's just wrong.
But no, there never was tree purity. It was only introduced recently.

Yeah, that's the way it has to be, right? Since you know that the system is broken. You just have to make up enough evidence to support that thesis.

If you don't like legacy characters, fine. I just think that making stuff up hurts your case more than it helps. Makes you seem irate and counterfactual. As already stated grinding tree purity wasn't possible until the purity change. Seems like it would have been fairly easy to ask around on IRC or in game to find that out before posting here.

It's not that unlikely really.
I managed to find 90% humus and raised my crop % about 10% in the short time i played before purity was nerfed.
People who had 100% and made tree walls would have used this 100% humus because they probably wouldn't even had anything *****.
But hey, maybe you are right and you are right and you are right.
I'm sure you have evidence there aren't any 100% purity forests out there.

Lol. 100% pure forests. Funniest thing I've heard since the "mushroom bug". As if you could even find a 25% pure tree.

Surely nobody actually believes these things and they are just trolling... Surely...

Even before the purity patch, very few people played with 100% purity humus (high 90s was far more common). Either way, one wouldn't have used such humus willy nilly, and as has been stated, prior to the patch, trees did not gain purity from being potted in high purity humus (and thus, basically no one did so). Now, once the patch went in, to be sure, people used their purity humus to grow high purity trees, but keep in mind that purity trees require purity pots and water as well. I am quite sure that it is actually impossible to have 100% pure trees under the current system. I can also attest, as the owner of a tree wall, that my trees were not 100% pure (before or after patch ;). As for the mushroom bug, to be fair, the very first thing I said when someone quoted me that line from the patch notes was, "Does that effect glutting I wonder?". It did not.

It is a shame Seatribe isn't hiring though. Working in Sweden could be fun :). Particularly in the Summer. I guess we (I?) do wish I was there 8).
