If we do change it, it will however also affect things already crafted.

still playing with this but does not seem to bad so far, though i could be missing something i havent found yet. this is a comparison of old pre patch food and the same purity (roughly) post patch with otmeal and barley, don't have any rye or wheat in the proper elements to test those.

I think its a very cool change you guys did to make the food crafting more interesting.

The effects seem to be a bit too dramatic right now in my humble opinion

The downside is it makes the high end foods which ask for high tier stuff even less desirable than they were before... stuff like croissants and what-not unless you buffed their stats too?

This could very well be an issue.

I'm sure there is some balancing that needs to be done, but that's why we're testing it now. :)

This assumes that mixing it up is an option. I suspect it isn't for a lot of people who were using those foods.

I don't think it's a bad thing since high tier food takes a lot of effort to keep going. Especially if you need All your gluttony to be top tier at the highest humors.

It would be nice if the stuff that already needs high tier stuff got buffs, or got reworked to take 'any' cabbage or flour and scale.
