      7. Plant sapling with highest value of element A you have into pot
      8. Wait for ~2 days for sapling to either become a plant able tree or a shriveled useless stick depending on how high your natural philosophy and stocks & cultivars are
      9. If you are lucky and get plant-able tree, plant it into the ground and wait ~7 days until it is full grown so you can get good amount of wood from it (though I recommend you wait until you can get cuttings from that tree which will have a higher level of element A than what you first started with, and replant that)

  2. Raise worms pure in element A
  3. Place worms pure in element A into compost bin pure in element A and wait for humus to generate which will also be pure in element A (purity depending on complicated function of bin purity, worm purity and worm efficiency)
  4. Prepare field with humus pure in element A
  5. Sow seeds which you can find as high in element A as possible
  6. Wait for [crop growth time] days until harvest
  7. Hope the random number generator is kind and bumps your resulting harvest's element A value even higher
  8. Repeat all the steps above for next minor incremental gain in element A purity

And of course you can quadruple you fun by doing all of the above with each of the other 3 elements as well! ;)

Looks like loads of fun when you type it out like that.

NOT!

i understand i feed the worms and all, and then i get better humus, leading to better pumpkins... am i right in thinking the pumpkins will be higher in the same element the worms and humus were? do i need it to be the same element that i will look for in clay and lime an granite an water for my gardening pots? what about my crops? how will their gluttony and healing points be affected by being pure in different elements? i'm sure i read something about it somewhere but i don't remember where or anything. it's all a lot to take in  do i need different crops to be pure in different elements?

If you want crops pure in element A then you must:
  1. Build compost bin pure in element A
    1. Grow tree pure in element A

  2. Raise worms pure in element A
    1. Find worms from digging, stumps, or from compost bins
    2. Place worms into a container
    3. Find plants which fall under the "Any Plant" category which are high in element A
    4. Place plants into container in squares adjacent to the worms
  3. Place worms pure in element A into compost bin pure in element A and wait for humus to generate which will also be pure in element A (purity depending on complicated function of bin purity, worm purity and worm efficiency)
  4. Prepare field with humus pure in element A

Ok guys now i've got some things to test:

Compost bin boards used: 39.10/18.77/19.33/22.80 1,33 multi 3% pure

Now im doing humus with 0% efficiency, any special combinations of worms you'd wish to see the output?(0-100%)

0, 50, 100?
or should we have more data point?

Thanks! ;)

compost bin with 3% boards

Without worms - 0% purity 1,03 m. 28,93/23,25/23,41/24,39

With pythons 90%+ - 4% purity 1,38 m. 40,41/19,16/19,31/21,13

Have fun grinding, im out from tests and farming for now

Are the pythons 90% purity or you mean 90% efficiency?

90%+ purity with 96% efficiency, 1 worm spawned multipler 1,39.

Damn, not much of a change with those super pythons. Kinda disappointing, now i hate even more my 1% worms:P

Have you tried them on fields? Maybe they give a super boost to seeds, otherwise i am starting to really question my whole tree farming project. I mean all this effort for 3-4% cereal?

i've tested a lot of humus in diffrent values,
seeds > humus = output capped by humus(+ RNG)
seeds ~ humus = RNG
seeds < humus = going up(+ RNG)

Well i was in a positive mood as i was using 90+% humus for tree planting but after working for a month or so with the trees im out, i'll just plant the ones that will(probably) sprout and leave it for the future.

Also stopped to feed my worms at 30%, dont want to waste more hp humus if the outcome is so...

Waiting till thursday, maybe i will get something new to do.

Wut, i've just put my 30~% pythons into bin and the output is nearly the same o.O waiting for one more piece to spawn.

I'm a bit late on the suggestions, but if you have some time these days could you try those same 90% purity worms mixed with the exact same number of null worms as the number of pythons/worms you had before? As well as perhaps the 90% purity combo + half as many null worms. Doesn't really matter if you go over 100% efficiency, but 100% efficiency at least would be best for mathing things up :D
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.
