As long as the game is moving forward, whether in the great leaps of the recent weeks or in baby steps as this may be, effort is still being applied. THAT is what I am thanking them for, not the specifics of this update.

and @ Colesie, be grateful, you could have taken a week off for a new hat  ;)

I'd rather them give us an update once a month if it meant something useful and tested.

I see what youre saying and can see the logic. But as to the second part, arent we the testers?

True enough on the testers part, but I feel like they are giving weekly updates feel rushed that they have to bring us the update. Than they bring something useless.

@ KitKat
You may have a point, I guess its a lot of pressure having us all waiting with baited breath for the next one.

I personally approve of this patch.. I think weekly patches/addons are a fantastic approach to game development as monthly patches dont provide the level of testing that these new additions do.. everyone rushes on to find the new copper node etc. yes it might be useless now but it opens up for future development a lot quicker than trying to rush out stuff once a month (i.e. purity changes) the alchemical equipment has been modded already due to the thorough testing and findings that wouldnt have happened for another 2 weeks minimum if it were once a month and this gives loftar and jorb time to perfect their next additions such as distillation? and bronzeworking?

I assume they release low-effort patches because they're working on bigger things that take multiple weeks.

Agreed. I dont think they are doing things in a week. They probably have a plan they are following with multiple things being worked on. Then they release some things that are ready each week.

The fact that there is less done this week could mean that they stepped away from the current plan to work on changes needed.

Hell, whatever you do, you can't satisfy everyone. So, keep up the good work, guys. Whiners will just whine.

Why do you think that new cave-in system with visual elements is less effort than tweak some purity formulas?
