I was expecting some fun stuff out of alchemy - like potions.. whitchcraft.. etc.
It feels like this was abused to fix the STILL broken purity system :(

Where is the fun gone? Is each patch day now about trying to balance the end game making it worse for everybody else not participating in the end game stuff or just playing for FUN?

I mean how the hell should you now get any meaningful numbers into your char not living in a big city having a complex purity system? Im not talking about being 500+ char. Im talking about surviving and enhance your char. How you ever want to make a meaningful agriculture life as hermit?

I was really playing this game a lot (for my circumstances) before we got the "as above so below" patch. And it was fun. You could progress pretty good when playing some hours a day. Raising biles was manage able and, what I like most, it was a real effort to specify yourself in a certain thing. So a fully developed char for profs was a valuable thing. Now? ... It's a joke.
Maybe I am wrong but I read nobody complaining about profs... why did you change it?

The old patch days were every time something really joyful for me. Waking up, reading the notes and find something funny like a churches, a canoo, pistols, tree planting... this was fun! Something new to try, something which you could explore.

Since "as above so below" I check my account once a day for some minutes. I ask myself "hm shall I go into all that purity/alch stuff.. any other news? na...logoff". I dont feel any motivation playing this game at the moment... The purity system is way to complicated and the new game additions are not fun.

Dont get me wrong - I am not saying that it shouldn't be a hell of an effort to get into the end game (in terms of time) - but I am saying it should be manageable without spending most of the time to transfer some funny coloured % into the right direction.

Cancel purity, find something which works.

My 2 cents...

You want to play as solo hermit in 1600's society simulator and still have same level of development as large towns? :o

EDIT: trade is only option for you then

Proficiency Change: Whenever you level up a proficiency, all proficiency meters that are currently full and processed (green) are now increased by one point, except for the proficiency you actually clicked to increase, which is instead increased by two points.

Gaaaah.. now its like a waste unless you fill em ALL up

Alchemy seems nice, but quite costly. I hope we'll soon have some way to make glass ourselves.
Wall nerf is simply stupid with the titans still roaming.

i have a suggestion.
When you make an announcement thread, make two... clearly marked one for people with genuine questions and concerns and thanks, the other for whiners and whingers and vested interesters to complain in? Then I wont have to trawl thru hours of but Jorb, You two clearly dont play the game, all my effort is gone, the noobs can catch me now, the noobs will never catch me now, etc etc etc. Its getting really really tiresome and boring

They see, they play and they whine...Give it a rest, people. If you can't handle the constant changes during this phase, quit for a while until the game has better system or go play something else, yourself, perhaps. Apart from the wall nerf, this update seems like fun. Looking forward to animal husbandry and tons of bug concerning livestock's purity and their crap.

I like this. A lot. Alchemy is quite costly, but at the same time it fits the concept. You didn't need a degree to be a doctor, but those tools weren't cheap. Can't wait to test it out :)
