Perhaps they would, if boiling a bucket of water took 1 week and had a 33% chance to raise the highest alchemy by 0.01. Failed attempts have a chance to destroy the bucket, the stove you cook it in, the house you built the stove in and a small chance to create a 25 square km deserted weasteland where no forageable items will ever spawn again for 5 real-time years.

i predict some kind of nerf to mines/mining.

limited ore, node base ore that deteriorates from the center, purity based off of smelters/coal/tools

This patch!

1. Ultimate purity fix

2. Wells with water purity

3. Corn meal fix (keeps purity upon grinding)

4. Some sort of improved stall system (tired of empty stalls all owned by the same person)

Some disruptive little alteration to a currently working system, and that obviously took just a single afternoon of coding.
