Lucky i got 100L of 5% merc water yesterday then i guess.
Prepare for another week of walking around with buckets.

Raiding protocols have increased to 5%+ buckets of water.

Prepare to lose your things.

Confirming that water and some forageables seem more or less the same on Jamestown. Good luck to ye, poor people of Roanoke and Plymouth(if that's also affected). Hopefully Jorb/Loftar have the old alchemical field values saved somewhere. Having to move base yet again to find new water spots would be quite a big hassle, so fingers crossed!

Things are so messed up right now it would seem better to just start from scratch with what we have.

Threatening to quit if someone threatens to raid you only encourages them.

If you're making threats, it's because you want tears, not loot. Otherwise you keep your trap shut about it and try to surprise them.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Threats?
The game is so much fun now that every time i log in i think, maybe i have been raided so i can quit.
If there are any tears it's because of the changes
There will only be relief if i get raided, no tears.
I'm not a 12 year old who is playing her first game.
Many many high lvl chars/towns/etc in many many games have been left to rot after the game was no longer fun without even blinking once.
Tears over a game... lol

You have to realize that most of these people on this thread are just as affected as you are. They troll because they havn't got much anything else to do. Grind that tree purity. Im enjoying my new 5% merc and 5% lead water sources on.

I can't see anyone who is serious about grinding purity caring about 5% water, that's not high enough to really give a **** about.

Perhaps not tears, but definetly lots and lots of rage :P And it saddens me, not about your rage in particular, but about the general mopey, kicking dirt with head lowered and hands in pockets attitude that people have had since the purity changes. Yeah, the game's changing, and yes it's currently imbalanced. I honestly feel like at this point I just want to advise the majority of people that dislike changes to just drop the beta altogether. If you're not having fun beta testing, and if this beta is ruining the game for you, then leave it. Go play other games, do other stuff, enjoy life. And after the game releases, you can check the wiki, ask on the forums, or even play a bit and see if the game in its (more or less) final state is satisfactory. But this beta can't just stand still because people want the beta to be a released game rather than a beta. It's like laying some bricks to build a house, and then attempting to live in it when it's halfway ready and complaining that it's raining inside. Wait till the house is ready, or in this case the game, and then complain about it lacking features to complete the entire picture.
