not really true, at around 10 - 12 food items with low purity food (which will not give you your desired stat all the time like high purity food will) the invariance drain outweighs the ability to eat enough food points to continue.

and not to be mean, but i dont think u guys got over 100 bios so i can understand y this is going the way it is but darwoth is so right... trying spamming things like that and variance will kick the crap out of u... and u cant even keep states even because u cant really choose if they dont want people to reach 100 then cap it... i have 2 kids a fiancee and a full time job i dont have the time to grind like that slow months for me is the winter but now i dont even want to play i just log on and put items in stall and log off... there r going to have to be so many changes now like they should get rid of brazers now. and other defensive items cause if it keeps going like this the only person that can raid is darwoth lol... and with out looting, and killing this game is pointless...

... what? Please try to construct actual sentences :(

Just because you can't rise a new character to all biles 100 in a week anymore (without stockpiled humus) doesn't mean you ever should have been able. 100 biles is still very possible, with 0% food but it requires the foodstuffs that were not popular because they never had any decent purity.

Most bases can still be raided, but -true- not by a single person anymore. How is that a bad thing? Raids on well-defended homesteads will turn into well-organized assaults by large groups of people. This will only protect new players (arguably -yes- by slowing the older players down).

On the other hand, it's only putting the problem back in time. Give it a couple of months, and several towns will start to be getting high purity tree farms and such, expanding the gap between new players and old ones again. In the meantime, just enjoy all the tears :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Except you can't reach 100% with the currently existing mechanics. You could grind 24/7 till the heat death of the universe, and you still wouldn't get 500 biles. Of course, it's kinda pointless to base all our projections on just the currently existing purity mechanics, because they're obviously very much unfinished.

This means that market will have varieties of goods of different purities and prices which gives more options for traders and consumers. And I personally think it is good for trading. And maybe we will get up to 100% purity one day but the main purity available on market would be 50% p or lower. And since raiding requires large group, there's no point grinding your char up over 300 biles and that makes using 50% p food viable.
We make sword stone for keeper and pull they do it and excalibur come out. have no make stone to for sword we make sword box for sword to put sword in for sword. -Moniker (Anarchy online)

What plants did you add to the container and when did you do it?
Mine still hasn't eaten and some of the worms and plants have been in their container since Friday evening.

Okay, I have a variety of plants in there, grass, sugar caps etc, what I DID do is take them out last night and replace them, people were saying they were eating, mine werent, so I thought maybe they need resetting? Anyway, they are in crates, line of worms in the middle, stuff on top and below. I hope this helps, I know how irritating it is when someone says they are and yours arent! Good luck with Wormageddon

I've started writing a Purity article that may or may not be used, and as I shared the 3 paragraphs of how farming works (in relation to the new system), this is what she wrote back:

[2013-04-16 15.09.34] 'Friend': All that doesn't sound like fun, to be honest.
[2013-04-16 15.09.45] 'Friend': It's supposed to be fun, isn't it? A game? For enjoyment?

On the topic of worms: I am happy to hear some are seeing results. I'm eager to see them for myself.
