STILL no worms eating... I prepared boxes with worms+food immediately after the patch so that was well over 24 hours now...

Also I have made a troubling discovery with the new bin system - so you can place purity worms into the bin and then this helps increase the purity of the humus (along with the purity of the bin itself which I have yet to explore). But the bad news is your bin can continue to produce new worms but these new worms do not get any purity from their "parents" instead they are 25/25/25/25 0% pure, and then they immediately negatively affect the humus production in that bin they were born in.

Patch game so it's impossible to get any high purity crops and make it an enormous grind to get half decent purity crops.
Hurry out some half assed patch in a crappy attempt of pleasing the players a bit and break the game.
Should have left it like it was, farming was fine.
Humours could only go so high and everyone could reach them if they put some work into it.
Now it's just crap and nobody is enjoying farming anymore.

Just got botany, looked at forrestry and just lol'ed at the profs i needed to even make a damn tree.
When i started playing i thought, wow, no slaying of mobs all day long to gain 0.1% of xp but instead play the game and get progress, this is great.
Now i don't even want to log in anymore and when i do i'm done in like an hour whereas two weeks ago i played all day long.

It looks like they either don't want anyone to play or are hellbent on making players life's miserable and the game no fun anymore.

Farming was never fine; it was too easy and the only required effort was a monotonous grind. What's not fine is that an unfinished agriculture system was exploited for over 6 months, up to the point where people's biles were able to skyrocket beyond what should be acceptable compared to all the other aspects of the game, mainly defenses. Also, seeing how people stored away thousands of 100% seeds was just disturbing. What broke the game is the old system versus the new system.

In general, one can't blame mmo players for exploiting a system, because an mmo player is by far the most fanatic when it comes to achieving and trying to be the best. Even the crappiest and unworthy games will be turned inside by some mmo players. The only thing that would've fixed this drama, is a new server or a wipe, and as the developers mentioned, they don't see a reason to do this.

So, we either play like this, or move on I guess. I'm gonna just suck it up, and continue playing.

All the continuous development of the game throughout the beta is fine .. because it's the beta. And that's the dominant argument for ignoring any current imbalance, "it's only beta", implying that it'll all be fine come release day. But then a lot of the older players seem to be under the impression that there will be no wipe come release day, and that too is fine, provided new servers get thrown out there for fresh players, or players that want to start from a balanced set of mechanics. The question is, how will release day unfold? :P The more people understand that the point of this beta is to test the mechanics, and then if possible enjoy them as well, the sooner they'll (hopefully) start doing just that, test stuff, and not care about their stockpile of stuff. But people seem to be clinging to the idea that they'll be keeping all of their exploited stuff, or stuff acquired from an incomplete game. And even if they do end up keeping their stuff, we should have a clear idea of what group will be in what position on release day. People that didn't stockpile imbalanced stuff, be it items or stats, from beta, will likely want a fresh start. On the other hand the vets that have worked hard for their stuff in hope of keeping it, will likely want to continue playing on the old servers :P Then there's the idea of potential server transfering, which personally makes me uneasy at the thought that one day MM might move to my fresh realm and just throw down walls all over the place. So yeah, a reasuring reminder, or statement, regarding a an extra "fresh" server on release might calm down all the people with modest humors and such, and reignite their will to play the game with less attachment towards their current achievements. Cause honestly between the constantly changing mechanics and the dominant factions raiding everyone for humus/worms/comewhatmay, we all need to detach a bit from our owned stuff :P

I have had earthworms and pythons in chests since right after the update. I have 4 chests each with a python and an earthworm and have put matching purity food in each chest. So in theory I believe they should be eating by what jorbtar said however like everyone else they have yet to eat anything. None of the food is missing and nothing has changed alchemical purity so I have to wonder what the trick is. However after reading all 22 pages of this announcement and looking through the rest of the forums I have yet to see anyone claiming earthworms that have fed at all. There are people who have tried rearranging stuff and trying different plants and attempting to do anything they could think of to no avail...

So JORBTAR is there a wurm with the worms or what? is this broken or are we stupid/impatient? please just let us know for our own sanity whats going on.

Worms only eat from inventory squares immediately next to them. They eat every 12 RL hours.
