All the morons arguing over skill level, effort, researching game mechanics, etc, don't seem to realize that even if a noob came here, invested 100% of his free time into playing this game 100% efficiently, it will not change the fact that the players who reached agriculture before the last patch have had a MASSIVE advantage over anyone who had reached agriculture after the patch. If you're not a complete retard, you will also note that the old players have the advantage even AFTER the patch.

Many old players have 100% purity humus and seeds hoarded up, and could effectively use them to cut the effort needed to grind purity after the patch in half.

Before some moron with 400 humours begins to go on about how new players can also buy them, I'm sure new players have 400 silver laying around to buy 25 seeds... Even then they would need several thousand silver to buy a significant amount of seeds to actually make a difference.

And as Loftor eluded to, many people who have started long ago have been able to exploit an unintended game mechanic tremendously and for a very extended period of time, which will not be addressed.

If you're talking about 1x1, these people have been dying in droves. It is an issue, but as Jorb has said, its something that will take time to become inconsequential. You are at a disadvantage for the short term but that doesn't mean any reset or compensation needs to happen. I am not an elitist, I never played HnH, it probably took me 6 months to bother getting a character above 200 humors. Any new hardcore-type players will be at a disadvantage until this new system is fully implemented, for casual or anyone like me I do hope the system will be expanded on soon enough.

I love that it's somehow 1x1 fields all of sudden that got people to high humours. God forbid it was the fact that if you had just replanted the best seeds every round and coaled them to hell you'd have 100% seeds in under a month. And then have right up until last week to eat like a fatcat. Nah, it wasn't that anybody could half-ass their fields and have a behemoth if they wanted for little effort, it was those deadly deadly 1x1's.

Maybe not for the rabble, but I sure as hell was rocking 100% within a month of plymouth opening on certain crops. And nary a 1x1 was to be found at my place. If I did it solo, groups could and did do it faster and easier.

yeah took me about a month and a half of 200% speed to cap cereals, longer for the others obviously. also got a boost in pumpkins when i traded for some 45% seeds to replace the 25% ones i had.

wish i had been feeding my plymouth characters this whole time instead of just switching to jamestown entirely, would have a lot more and lot better characters there by now than i do currently.

My point..... never intended to be so seems to imply some sort of fix.
