One nice thing about this update is that exploration is again very important . All the mappers might have to start from scratch again but this time carrying empty buckets to sample waters and also having newbie explorers is not very wise as you may not be seeing the high purity items without the high proficiencies...
I wish jorb/loftar told us how the caps of purity are affected by proficiency... for example if you have 30 mines and mountains what is the highes tpurity mineral you can find? How does it play our sayif you have a deposit with potentially 100 purity lime and you mine a rock with a guy that has 30 mines & mountains compared to a guy that has 50, 75, 100 ?
One bad thing about this update is with all the pre-patch high purity stuff already in game it will be difficult for most players to get an accurate sense of how well this new system plays out, since they can seed their pots and bins with old 100% humus and thus skip alot of hard work which would be required had this been done on day one.
With the way the compost bin's purity has such a dramatic effect on resulting humus (i.e. place 100% pure seeds into 0% pure bin you get... 0% humus!) I am having trouble comprehending how anyone can achieve purities higher than what naturally occurs in the game in terms of water/minerals with this new system.
