I saw a comment early on about "what the gaming public takes seriously". Here's "what they take seriously": World of Warcraft, Oblivion, Fallout, Halo, Call of Duty. I'm sure you can look around the net and see just how serious the public takes these things. Please don't talk about what the public takes seriously, because, in my experience, the public doesn't take anything seriously. Speak from your own experiences and opinions. Don't speak for everyone unless you have some opinion polls or such proof in hand to make a broad statement.

I've seen all kinds of comments about "huge boosts" to established players. If anything, this is the biggest kick in the 'nads to them. They're the ones (if they raid) of losing humors that won't get replaced for months, if ever. They're the ones with little to nothing to play for now. (They certainly aren't going to be developing their main crafters or raiders any further any time soon.) For everyone else, it's just game as usual, but now there's signs of ways of increasing the quality of everything. The one advantage I can see of having a 400 humor toon right now is in defensive tactics as you won't have to lose anything.
Would I like to see the servers reset over this? Yeah, I would, but I'm not going to ask for it because there's just still a ton more to do and it'd be pointless. By the time that is all done, a reset is probably going to be pointless. (We're talking a few to several months down the line.)

it isn't beta, for all intents the game has been released for months. thats why there is a store that has been selling **** for said months and no wipes were/are planned.
I'm actually agreeing with Darwoth.

I was going to write some remarks but what's the point?
As far as I see it we now need 90% pure water, iron, clay and some left over humus to make new compost bins, on the plus side it's just a stop gap, a large one but still, when someone finally makes 100% pure boards we'll be right where we left off.
No. Nail quality goes into it and presently max purity on Ply is like.. 50-55%. Perhaps higher but still makes little difference. With this capping your **** even with 100% boards it will make 100 purity unattainable ever again. 55% mines are hard to come by as it is, and the difficulty goes up as your purity rods do so... GL finding the like 4 100% mines on the entire map. You better hope that they're all 4 elements and you better hope that you control them all

Everyone is in the same boat now. Everyone needs to adjust how they grind and maintain seeds. Everyone will need to start grinding wood purity. Everyone will need to start hunting down purity materials for pots.
The only difference between those that have more than others is this: they have more. They have more resources to leverage today than you do. It's the same situation as yesterday. The only difference is now you have to work in a different way to "catch up". At the same time those who have more must work in a different way to maintain what they have.
The only folks that should be cheesed off about this are those who have more. The purity of their crops cannot be maintained today as they were yesterday. They have a massive grind in front of them before they can get back to where they were yesterday. I think the reason we don't see a lot of those folks complaining on this thread is that they clearly understood that this change was inevitable, and they're the type of folks that get things done.
If you've been playing this game since before open beta and don't have 300+ humors you shouldn't be complaining. You weren't going to have 300+ humors a month from now anyway.
